Locanda Estate is a shielded, hillside reinforced vineyard estate, tucked tightly into a 3 sided crevice, deep in the heart of the Sonoma Valley. Having its own unique micro-climate, it is ideally suited to produce our unique, low production, cellar worthy wines.

Optimum Climate
Sonoma Valley is a coastal appellation, a bit cooler on average than its neighbor, Napa Valley. It is favored for its fog in the mornings and sunny afternoons. Cooled by maritime breezes off the nearby Pacific Ocean, an optimum climate to achieve rich fruit flavors. The Sonoma Mountains to our West shielding the valley from excessive rainfall.
Sustainable Grounds
The picturesque hillside provides a natural habitat for bobcat, fox, wild turkey, raptors, coyotes, and the occasional mountain lion. Our dedication to gentle sustainable farming practices include free range sheep, pasture raised chickens, heritage vineyard and olive groves creates a true collaboration, respect and natural balance with Mother Nature.
